# Reward System

The reward system for storage nodes is designed to compensate contributions to storage capacity and data availability within the platform:

* **Storage Operation Rewards**: Storage nodes earn rewards generated from data retrieval and storage operations.
* **Data Maintenance Rewards**: Nodes are rewarded for ensuring data integrity, availability, and redundancy. These rewards are based on the volume of data managed and the duration of its storage.
* **Special Incentives**: In the early stages of platform operation, storage node operators may receive additional rewards from a designated token pool to support the growth and stabilization of the infrastructure.
